Patrice Pike on Rock Star Supernova

My long time friend/collaborator/bandmate, Patrice Pike is one of the 15 finalists on the new Rock Star Super Nova, a new-band formed by drummer Tommy Lee with bassist Jason Newsted and guitarist Gilby Clarke. She is a slamming singer and performer and I’m sure she will take America by storm. I’m glad she has this opportunity, but I’m also a bit sad she will have to put her independent singer/songwriter career on hold for a while. We starting recording her new record almost three years ago and it’s been held back for different reasons. Mainly because she has been going through so many changes musically and she wants this record to be a best representation of where she is musically.

So vote for her.

BTW, Jim McGorman, the keyboard/guitar player on Matt Nathanson’s new record is in the RockStar house band and he did the INXS version last year.

You can hear me playing with Patrice on the record New Cool Sampler at the iTunes music store.

EDIT:: Here is a galley of old pictures of Patrice, myself and our bands.
