John is an Austin based touring/session bassist and engineer/producer. He has played with such artists as Matt Nathanson, Brett Dennen, David Garza, Patrice Pike, Juliana Hatfiled, Jack Ingram, Mike McClure, Kate Earl, Asylum Street Spankers, Blu Sanders and Craig Marshall. John has also engineered records by Tenlons Fort (symphonic folk/pop), Little Alice Spencer and Her Monkey Butlers (vintage jazz), LAZ D (hip hop) and Craig Marshall (guitar pop). He is currently touring with Patrice Pike and Brett Denenn and will join back up with Matt Nathanson when Matt’s new Reord comes out in August. Time off the road is spent playing around Austin with such artists as Suzanna Choffel, Tenlon’s Fort, Wendy Colonna, Brandon Jenkins, Erin Condo, Sarah Glynn, Seahorse, Aimee Bobruk, Jade Day, Wayne Sutton, Tucker Livingston, Maggie Walters, Craig Marshall, Melissa Greener and Seth Walker.
